Our First Christmas!
A New Beginning…
“Our” story is a new one…you see we met later in life and I’m amazed how well we are matched. We each have brought our own unique skill sets to this relationship. He does all the “boy stuff”, building, welding, etc. and I do all the “girl stuff”, cooking, canning, sewing, etc. We both love doing things with our hands, repairing rather than replacing, and generally living a less dependent, more self-sufficient life.
People say that I’m a female version of Bob and he’s a male version of me because we know how to do “things”…and if we don’t…we research it, learn and test it out. The first step is to take a chance and try.
